Senator Leman moved that the Senate concur in the House amendments. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendments?" Effective Date YEAS: 18 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 2 Yeas: Austerman, Cowdery, Davis, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Leman, Lincoln, Olson, Phillips, Stevens, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Absent: Hoffman, Kelly and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendments, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 161(JUD)(efd am H) "An Act relating to the withholding of salary of justices, judges, and magistrates; relating to prompt decisions by justices, judges, and magistrates; relating to judicial retention elections for judicial officers; and providing for an effective date." Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
